Antara + Rondo are a folk-Americana duo from Flagstaff, Arizona. They play mostly Antara’s original songs with both on guitars and singing harmonies. The duo has performed at Flagstaff Folk Festival ’24 and ’25, the Flagstaff Foundry, and Coconino Center for the Arts. Both are members of the Flagstaff Songwriters Circle, of which Antara is the founder and facilitator.
Antara and Robbie Rondo met in April ’24 when Robbie saw a flyer for the Flagstaff Songwriters Circle and reached out to Antara. It was soon discovered that Robbie, who moved to Flagstaff only months earlier, grew up playing music in North Hollywood with Antara’s long-time musical collaborator, the late GREAT Bill Lanphar. This small-world encounter led to the inevitable – forming a musical partnership together.
